Hiring Preferences

This section allows you to set default settings for your company that will affect the content of the job vacancies you create and the process of interacting with them using our ATS system. You can read more about our ATS system here.

From this section, you can configure the following:

Please note that all settings entered in this section become default and apply to all NEW job postings you create on the site. They will not apply to job postings that have already been created. We implemented this to avoid altering the settings you set individually for your vacancies.

When creating a new job posting, the default settings and new fields can be edited directly in the creation window of that particular job and will apply only to it. Default settings for other vacancies will remain unchanged. This allows you to set up templates and save time when creating job postings while still maintaining the flexibility for individual customization of each posting.

Now, let’s delve into each of these sections in detail.

Hiring pipeline

In this settings section, you can configure the default order of folders where candidates are placed and delete and add new ones. Note that the folders Unrated, Not a Fit, Maybe, Perfect Fit, and Declined (highlighted in grey) are default and cannot be deleted or edited, as they are involved in the automatic sorting system. You can read more about it here.

Click the’ Add new stage’ button to add a new stage to the pipeline.

In the popup that appears, you must enter the name of the folder (stage) and click ‘Add’.

Afterward, you will see the new stage appear in the overall pipeline.

You can edit the order of these folders by dragging them up or down. Moving into the positions of default folders (highlighted in grey) is impossible.

You can choose the folder color (stage) for easier visual identification. To do this, click on the folder and select a new color.

A stage can be deleted by clicking on the trash bin icon.

After making all changes, click the ‘Save changes’ button. Leave or refresh the page if you do not wish to apply the changes.

Screening questions

On this page, you can set default screening questions that will appear with all new job postings. More details about the types of screening questions and how to manage them can be found in this article.

To ensure that changes take effect, you must click the “Save changes” button. If you do not wish to apply the changes, you can simply leave the page or refresh it.

Preferences for applicants’ location

On this page, you can set default preferences for regions and countries from which you primarily consider applications. These settings will be applied to all new job postings created from your company’s profile. For more details on how locational filters work, you can read this article.
